Each day runs from 9am until 5pm.

Day 1: Organic and Regenerative Agriculture

Introduction to Ecological Design: definitions and ethics, principles and design elements

⁠Functional analysis of a plant

⁠Soil: composition, characteristics and field analysis

Day 2 & 3

⁠Regenerative Agriculture and Inputs: ⁠worm compost, hot compost, bocashi, and reproduction of microorganisms

Day 3

Liquid biofertilizers

⁠Processes in an AgroEcoSystem and Management of Organic Matter: pruning for biomass and root exudates, mulching and cover crops

Giuseppe Sannicandro is an international expert, farmer himself, with vast experience in regenerative practices specialized in the Mediterranean context.

GIUSEPPE SANNICANDRO

Giuseppe Sannicandro started working with regenerative farming more than 10 years ago in Italy, going deeper in agroforestry in South America. Since then he has designed the transition to regenerative farming for more than 70 farms all over Europe in various different climates. He has vast experience in the Mediterranean climate, working with farms in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, Switzerland and Greece. He is co-founder of the organization Regen based in Apulia, Italy where he is running an educational regenerative farming center, while designing and consulting other farms.

This event is tailored to the Greek context. The main target audience are farmers and agronomists who want to learn how to increase productivity and fertility in farming operations, through regenerative practices.

The training will be taught in English, with live translation into Greek.

Exact location will be provided in a follow-up email, upon registration.

A delicious and organic light lunch will be offered to participants.

A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who partiicpate to the full program.
